MISTER AIRFRY’S THOUGHTS:
With a recipe book included this is all you need to start your Airfryer journey and shedding some pounds!
It is Philips entry level model and whilst it does not compromise on quality it is the ideal air fryer for a novice to get started and dip there foot in the Air Frying scene
It’s key features include a manual timer which is ideal for any elderly people looking to get started but are put off by all these digital interfaces on other models. With an excellent 4.8 / 5 stars on amazon it truly is an affordable and quality airfryer suited to all novices.
Now the nitty gritty – one of the drawbacks of this model is that it’s capacity is only 800g which ultimately means it is only really suited to 1-2 people. However this was my first airfryer and to be honest it did me just fine. Getting home late for work with little motivation for cooking I was able to pick something out of the fridge or freezer and whack it in the airfryer and set the timer and away it went. No messy clean ups after like frying or conventional cooking. This was the dream! One of the things I did invest in while I has the model was a grill pan which I got on amazon here.
It is also worth noting that this model comes with the mesh basket which is ideal to allow all that unhealthy fat drip off your food and save on them nasty fatty calories. I was amazed how much fat actually came off some of the foods I cook which would not show up when frying / cooking etc. This is every healthy persons dream!
Mister Air Fry Top Tip:
Keep a diary of the cooking times of your favourite foods and how you like them cooked! I found this handy in the mornings. I would get up and straight away go downstairs and put my bacon in the airfry for 12 mins (just the way I like them nice and crispy) and then by the time I have my shower the bacon is done!! And with the countdown timer it automatically shuts off – the powers of modern technology!
